A quelques mètres près, l’avion de la Pegasus Airlines plongeait dans la Mer Noire.
La compagnie turque à bas prix Pegasus a annoncé par communiqué sur son site web qu’un Boeing 737 qui reliait Ankara à Trabzon en Turquie était sorti de piste au moment de l’atterrissage samedi en début de soirée.
« Les 162 passagers, les deux pilotes et les quatre membres de l’équipage ont été évacués de l’appareil en toute sécurité. Il n’y a a pas de victime », a fait savoir Pegasus.
Des images de l’incident montrent le Boeing reposer sur le terre-plein après avoir quitté la piste, le nez de l’appareil surplombant la mer de seulement quelques mètres.
La cause de l’accident est inconnue pour l’instant, a déclaré le bureau du gouverneur de la région. L’aéroport, qui avait été fermé, a rouvert dimanche matin.
